Balter Medical AS will expand its clinical research activities in the UK with additional sites and study protocols

UK Clinical Trials

Balter Medical AS has expanded its Clinical Trial program to include UK sites.

Norwich and Norfolk Teaching Hospital will be the first UK site to trial the OTD Melanoma device.

MRHA clearance for UK clinical trials

Balter Medical AS has received approval from MRHA for conducting clinical trials in the UK using its OTD Melanoma diagnostic device.

Mayo Clinical Data published

Balter Medical AS in collabortaion with Mayo Clinic has published findings of the 2008 pilot study in the International Journal of Skin Research and Technology entitled "Optical Transfer Diagnosis of Pigmented Lesions, a Pilot Study".

The Mayo Clinic Arizona USA has completed the second clinical trial with the Balter OTD Melanoma device.
Results are pending publication and reported to be consistant with pilot results.
